The Audio Guest Book captures the voices and emotions of your special moments, offering a personal touch that words alone can't express.


It’s a modern spin on the traditional guestbook!

Guests simply pick up the phone, leave a message after the beep, and share their well-wishes, cherished memories, current thoughts, or advice.


Once the event is over, you receive both the audio files and a video compilation of the messages.

  • Will the phone be set up by you, or will it be mailed?

    The setup process depends on your location. If your event is in Pittsburgh, we can usually handle the setup and pickup of the phone on the day of your event. However, the final decision will depend on our availability, and we'll confirm the details about a month in advance. If your event is outside Pittsburgh, we will mail the phone to you in the week leading up to your wedding. We cover the shipping costs and include a return label, so you can send it back to us easily.



  • What is the booking process?

    To book a Chatterbox phone for your event, simply send us an inquiry. Once we confirm availability, we’ll send you a contract and invoice. The contract will reserve your selected date and phone, while the invoice is due either before the phone is mailed or, if we’re setting it up in person, prior to the event day. You’ll have access to the invoice early, so you can pay it at your convenience. A few months before your event, we’ll send you a Guidelines PDF with instructions for setting up the phone and other useful details.

  • What’s needed for setup?

    For setup, all you need is a table in a visible location at your event, such as the welcome table, gift table, or dessert/cookie table—anywhere that guests will easily notice. The phone is powered by our battery packs, so you don’t need an electrical outlet.

  • Do the phones need Wi-Fi or a landline?

    No, the phones do not require Wi-Fi or a landline. All the messages are recorded and stored directly on the phone, and we retrieve them after the event.

  • What will I receive if the phone is mailed?

    If we mail the phone to you, you’ll receive the phone itself, along with setup instructions, a “How to Use” sign for guests, a power cable, backup battery packs, and an extension cable. Please keep all the mailing materials, as you’ll need them to send the phone back to us. A return shipping label will also be included for your convenience.

  • Can our event planner or coordinator set up the phone?

    If the phone is mailed to you, the setup is simple and can be done by anyone. Since you are responsible for the phone and all its contents, you can either set it up yourself or provide the setup instructions to your event planner, a trusted wedding party member, or a family member.

  • How can we encourage guests to use the phone?

    To encourage guests to use the phone, assign a few people from your wedding party to help spread the word and show guests how to leave a message. You can also ask your DJ or emcee to announce the audio guestbook and encourage guests to participate. Placing the phone in a high-traffic area like near the escort cards, gift table, or cookie table will also make it more visible to guests.

  • How many messages can we receive?

    There is no limit to the number of messages you can receive, although we cannot guarantee a specific number. To maximize the number of messages, we strongly encourage you to have your wedding party ask guests to leave a message, and request that your DJ announce about the audio guestbook throughout the event.

  • Do we get all the voicemails, or will any be removed?

    You’ll receive all the recorded messages. The only time we may remove a message is if there is no actual message recorded (just background noise) or if there is inappropriate content, such as hate speech (which we have not encountered but will carefully monitor when processing the messages).

  • When and how will we receive our messages?

    Once the phone is returned to us—whether picked up in person or mailed back—you will receive your messages within 48 hours. The messages will be sent to you via email as a downloadable file, which will include each individual voice message and a video that plays the messages consecutively. In addition to the files, you will receive a private link to listen to the messages online, and you can share this link with friends and family who would like to hear the messages as well.
